GDP-3D Digital Compass Non-magnetic Borehole Inclinometer
The GDP-3D is a compact and convenient wireless digital compass inclinometer designed exclusively for non-magnetic rock or mineral boreholes with an aperture greater than 46mm. This instrument uses a handheld unit for remote control of measurements and viewing of measurement data. The probe and handheld unit connect via Bluetooth. The GDP-3D does not measure and transmit data to the handheld unit in real time. Instead, it performs multiple measurements within the borehole by presetting batch measurement times or fixed measurement intervals. All measurement results can only be viewed after retrieving the probe tube and connecting it to the handheld unit.
The GDP-3D probe features 32GB of onboard memory, capable of storing tens of thousands of measurement files. These files can be viewed and extracted at any time via the handheld unit or by connecting to a computer. The GDP-3D features unlimited measurable depth and an exceptionally wide measurement range, with azimuth coverage from 0 to 360 degrees (0.1-degree accuracy) and a measurable range from 0 to 50 degrees (0.01-degree accuracy). The probe is powered by a 4.7V lithium battery, providing over 20 hours of continuous operation.
