In order to respond to ground noises and shaking such as caused by quakes, volcanic eruptions, and explosions, we need professional geophysical instrument-seismometer. It can record the motion of ground during an earthquake, which is very small vibration. Depends on the the different usages, 12/24/24/48/96 or more seismic cables may be needed for reflection/refraction survey.
