What is the difference between Steady-State and Unsteady-State Core Flooding systems, and which one do I need?
Steady-State systems inject multiple fluids (e.g., oil and water) simultaneously at fixed ratios until pressures stabilize. It is highly accurate for calculating relative permeability curves, but tests take a long time (days to weeks).
Unsteady-State systems inject one fluid to displace another. It is much faster (hours to days) but requires complex mathematical modeling to interpret the data.

What maximum temperature and pressure (HPHT) ranges can your core holders handle safely?

Answer: Standard laboratory systems typically handle up to 10,000 psi (approx. 70 MPa) confining pressure and 150°C. However, deep-water or unconventional reservoir testing requires advanced systems rated up to 15,000 psi or 20,000 psi and 200°C+.
