WDDS-3 Resistivity Vertical Electrical Sounding Equipment
 
  The WDDS-3 is an exploration device that utilizes the classic 1D VES geophysical method. By injecting direct current into the ground and measuring the potential difference, the vertical variation in the resistivity of the subsurface medium with depth is determined.  Information on resistivity at different depths underground serves as an important reference for determining the composition of geological strata. By analyzing changes in resistivity, geologists can map the distribution of high- and low-resistivity zones underground. Studies of the distribution of subsurface resistivity can be widely applied to groundwater resource exploration, deep bedrock detection, mineral prospecting, and environmental engineering surveys, among other areas.
  The WDDS-3 is a new-generation 24-bit processor-based direct current resistivity meter that supports Schlumberger sounding or Wenner array, as well as a variety of electrode arrangements. It can be widely used in the exploration of metallic and non-metallic mineral resources, urban geophysical exploration, railway bridge exploration, etc., and is also used in hydrological and engineering geological exploration such as finding groundwater and determining the location of hidden dangers in reservoir dam foundations and flood control dikes.
Main Features
High Power Input: Delivers a maximum power supply of 6000W (1200V×5A) with an ultra-wide 100Vp-p voltage input range and superior small-signal measurement accuracy. It adapts well to high-resistivity field environments for deeper, higher-quality measurement results.
 
Infinity Electrode Design: A built-in infinity electrode on the instrument panel supports dipole-dipole and three-pole measurement methods, ideal for conventional combined electrical profiling and sounding. It enables automatic measurement of ρsA, ρsB and ρs without manual operation, minimizing human error and boosting testing efficiency.
 
Pre-stored Electrode Spacing Table: The instrument's memory stores 100 sets of electrode spacing constants for all electrode arrangements. Users can call up or reset required constants via simple number entry, eliminating repeated manual input and associated errors.
 
Full-range Anti-interference Technology: Adopts multi-stage filtering and signal enhancement technologies, integrated with an electrical interference suppressor. It provides excellent common-mode and differential-mode interference resistance to ensure stable and high-accuracy measurement.
 
Automatic Multi-dimensional Compensation: Automatically compensates for natural potential, signal drift and electrode polarization, with a compensation range of ±10V.
 
Grounding Resistance Detection: Supports real-time, convenient inspection of the grounding condition of AB and MN electrodes.
 
Intelligent Self-diagnosis: The built-in diagnostic program quickly and accurately locates faults and identifies core damaged components.
