  WCZ-3 proton magnetometer is a precision geophysical equipment to measure the total earth's magnetic field, which is helpful in determine underground metallic minerals. wcz-3 determines the total value of the Earth's magnetic field at the current location by adding liquid samples (pure kerosene) to the probe and then observing the movement of protons in the liquid sample by applying and removing a magnetic field.

  Before the magnetic survey, users shall build a survey routine and use the magnetometer to measure the average value of the local total magnetic field in advance. If the total value of the Earth's magnetic field at a certain measurement point is significantly higher than the average value without interference in the measurement results, it indicates that there are magnetic minerals underground at that point. By simultaneously using two probes to carry out gradient measurements, users can determine the burial depth of mineral deposits.

WCZ-3 is of excellent resolution(0.05nT) and wide measurement range(20,000~100,000nT), which is totally enough for minerals exploration purpose.

Since proton magnetometer requires pure measuring environment and correct operation process. When the measured value is far deviate from expected value, the system will prompt that the measurement results are inaccurate. Users can promptly check the measurement equipment status and wether the operation process is as required, thereby avoiding affecting the accuracy of the entire measurement line.
