This three-component borehole geophone, is a kind of electrodynamics velocity sensor, generally used to receive seismic wave borehole. The geophone is made up from 3 high-sensitivity orthogonal Cartesian coordinates, which can sense the seismic wave from the 3-directions respectively. It uses the torsion spring and electromagnetic sidewall pad device, being to suit for drilling well of a diameter of Φ60~Φ160 (the max diameter is up toΦ200 by adjusting the position of a screw). The output end of cable can be welded according to user requirements or use a 27-core plugs, the joint box with Q9 plug-in card or plug-in card with red, yellow and blue

Design principle

This geophone is a speed sensor with movable coils. When vibration from the ground reaches the sensor, the coils in geophone element  make relative movements against magnetic system cutting magnetic lines. At this moment, the coil on each element induces electrical signals. As a result the mechanical vibrations from ground surface are transferred into electrical signals by the geophones. The frequency of geophones may be selected according to requirements of users. Adopt the reed-type as tension arm and the electromagnet act as pull-on unit.
