Product Description

Transient electromagnetic detection is one of the main means of geophysical detection. It stimulates underground targets by transmitting electromagnetic waves underground, receives the secondary field generated by it, and determines the physical parameters of the measured target. Transient electromagnetic measurement uses an ungrounded coil (or loop) to transmit a transient magnetic field underground. Usually, a square current wave is supplied to the transmitting coil to generate a stable magnetic field distribution underground. When the square current wave is turned off, the earth medium will generate eddy currents, the size of which depends on the conductivity of the earth medium.
