Product Description
Steel Ruler Water Level Gauge: Precise Water Level Measurement
Precise Measurement Tool
The steel ruler water level gauge is a precise tool used to measure water levels in wells, boreholes, and piezometers. It helps get very accurate readings of how deep the water is.
Ideal for Groundwater Monitoring
This device works great for monitoring groundwater levels in hydropower projects. It can also be used to check seepage lines in earth-rock dams, providing reliable data for assessing water movement underground.
Reliable Long-Term Surveillance
Whether you need to check water levels once in a while or continuously, the steel ruler water level gauge ensures steady and dependable performance over time. Its sturdy design makes it perfect for long-term monitoring and maintaining safety in engineering and structural assessments.
Simplified Explanation
The steel ruler water level gauge is a highly accurate tool for measuring water levels in various settings like wells and boreholes. It's especially useful in hydropower projects and for inspecting dams to ensure they are safe. This tool provides consistent and reliable data, making it essential for ongoing monitoring and safety checks in geotechnical and structural evaluations.
Structural Principle
The steel ruler water level gauge consists of a probe, a steel ruler cable, a receiving system and a winding reel.
1. Probe part: Made of stainless steel, with water resistance contact points installed inside. When the contact touches the water surface, the receiving system will be connected. When the contact leaves the water surface, the receiving system will be automatically turned off.
2. Steel ruler cable part: The steel ruler and the wire are combined into one by plastic technology, which not only prevents the steel ruler from rusting, but also simplifies the operation process, making the measurement more convenient and accurate.
3. Receiving system part: It consists of a sounder and a test button. The sounder emits a continuous buzzing sound from a buzzer. There is a test button on the front panel, which is mainly used to test whether the entire receiving system can work normally. If the battery is about to run out, the buzzer sound will become smaller. If you need to continue using it, please replace the battery of the same specification. (9V 6F22)
4. Winding disk part: It consists of a winding disk and a bracket. The receiving system and the battery compartment are placed on the front of the winding disk panel, and the steel ruler cable is wound outside the cavity.
Instrument Use
When measuring, pull out the brake bracelet hooked on the handle, let the winding reel rotate freely, press the power button, lightly press the test button, and check whether the buzzer makes a sound. If there is a dripping sound, you can continue to put the probe into the water pipe, hold the steel ruler cable, and move the probe slowly downward. When the contact of the probe touches the water surface, the sounder of the receiving system will emit continuous buzzing sounds. At this time, record the depth of the steel ruler cable at the pipe mouth, which is the distance between the groundwater level and the pipe mouth.
