TRI-AXIAL GYRO INCLINOMETER Gyro North Seeking Gyro Survey Tool borehole survey equipment
What is a north Seeking gyro?
The north seeking gyros, find azimuth by sensing the angular speed, or rate, of the earth's rotation.
Along with the gravitational field, it uses ...
The inclinometer is designed to measure pitch and roll inclination angles1 in the presence of dynamic disturbances:
linear accelerations, vibrations, etc., in a full ±180-degree orientation range.
The unit can also output: gravity angle, accelerations and angular rates in three orthogonal directions.
Description
The advantages of fiber-optic gyroscope (FOG) applying
in deviation logging were analyzed, and a FOG assembly for inclinometer in well logging was researched. We developed the fiber-optic gyroscope (FOG) inclinometer used in directional drilling, which is produced and sold for hundreds of sets and widely used. The equipment by our design : accurate measurement, high confidence level data, all solid state structure, no moving parts, low power consumption, long mean time between failure. The equipment by our design : accurate measurement, high confidence level data, all solid state structure, no moving parts, low power consumption, long mean time between failure.

A gyro survey inclinometer, also known as a gyroscopic inclinometer, is a device used to measure the angle of inclination or tilt of a wellbore during drilling operations in the oil and gas industry.
The device uses a gyroscope to measure the direction and magnitude of the earth's gravitational field, which is used to determine the angle of inclination of the wellbore. This information is important for a variety of reasons, including optimizing drilling operations, ensuring the wellbore stays within the desired formation, and minimizing the risk of drilling accidents.
The gyro survey inclinometer is typically used in combination with other tools and techniques, such as mud logging and wireline logging, to provide a comprehensive picture of the wellbore's characteristics.
