The steel ruler water level gauge provides the most accurate method for measuring water level. It is usually used to measure the water level in wells, boreholes and water level pipes. It is particularly suitable for observing the groundwater level in hydropower projects or for manual inspection of the dam body infiltration line of earth-rock dams. This instrument can be used during the period or for long-term safety monitoring of the project.


Structural principle

The steel ruler water level gauge is composed of a probe, a steel ruler cable, a receiving system and a winding reel.
1. Probe part: Made of stainless steel, with a water resistance contact point installed inside. When the contact touches the water surface, the receiving system will be connected. When the contact leaves the water surface, the receiving system will be automatically closed.
Steel ruler cable part: The steel ruler and the wire are combined into one using plastic technology, which not only prevents the steel ruler from rusting, but also simplifies the operation process, making the measurement more convenient and accurate.
3. Receiving system part: It consists of a sounder and a test button. The sounder emits a continuous buzzing sound from a buzzer.
