Seismic Imaging Cable 24 Take-Outs Seismic Cable and Imaging Cables 3D Seismic Refraction Geophone
WZG-24C series geophone unit 14Hz is a conventional dynamic coil geophone with small working parameter error and stable and reliable performance. It is a sensor that converts ground vibration into electrical signals. This product has a reasonable structural design, small size and light weight. It is a key equipment in the fields of seismic exploration and seismic monitoring.
The geophone 14Hz is vertical to the waterproof land housing with a 75mm tip and a 1m lead cable, terminated without a connector.
Working Principle When seismic waves propagate near a seismometer, the ground vibrates and the sensor of the seismometer vibrates accordingly. Depending on the working principle, the sensor converts this mechanical vibration into an electrical signal.
Structural composition Sensor: It is the core component, and the common ones are dynamic coil, piezoelectric, fiber optic, etc. For example, the dynamic coil sensor uses the principle of generating induced electromotive force by the movement of the coil in the magnetic field to sense the ground vibration caused by the seismic wave and convert it into an electrical signal; the piezoelectric sensor is based on the piezoelectric effect of certain crystal materials, and generates electric charge when subjected to pressure or vibration.
Signal processing module: It mainly amplifies and filters the weak electrical signals collected by the sensor to improve the quality and identifiability of the signal, remove noise and interference signals, and enhance useful signals.
Data recording system: It is responsible for recording and storing the processed seismic wave data for subsequent analysis and research.
