Pile body integrity detection
One of the core functions of the pile foundation dynamic tester is to detect the integrity of the pile body. It can generate stress waves that propagate along the pile body by applying an exciting force to the top of the pile. When there are defects in the pile body (such as cracks, mud inclusions, necking, etc.), the stress waves will be reflected and transmitted at the defects. The dynamic tester can collect these reflected wave signals and determine the location and degree of the pile body defects by analyzing the time, amplitude, frequency and other characteristics of the reflected waves. For example, based on the time when the reflected wave reaches the top of the pile and the propagation speed of the stress wave in the pile body, the depth of the defect from the top of the pile can be calculated; the severity of the defect can be roughly judged by the amplitude of the reflected wave.
Pile body quality assessment
Based on the data of pile body integrity detection, the pile foundation dynamic tester can conduct a comprehensive assessment of the pile body quality. It can generate detailed inspection reports and classify the pile body quality according to relevant standards (such as the Technical Specifications for Building Foundation Pile Inspection), such as Class I piles (complete pile body), Class II piles (pile body has slight defects, which does not affect the normal performance of the pile body structure bearing capacity), Class III piles (pile body has obvious defects, which affects the pile body structure bearing capacity), Class IV piles (pile body has serious defects), etc., to provide a basis for the judgment of project quality.
Estimation of pile bearing capacity
Some advanced pile dynamic testers also have the function of estimating pile bearing capacity. It can estimate the vertical bearing capacity of piles by detecting parameters such as the dynamic stiffness of the pile body, combining factors such as the type, size, and geological conditions of the pile, using empirical formulas or theoretical models. However, this estimation result is usually a reference value, which needs to be combined with other methods such as static load tests to more accurately determine the bearing capacity of the pile.
Data acquisition and storage function
The pile dynamic tester can effectively collect various data during the detection process, including excitation signals, reflection wave signals, signal acquisition time, detection pile number and other information. These data will be stored in the instrument's internal storage device, which generally has a large storage capacity and can meet the needs of multiple tests. In addition, the data storage format usually meets the requirements of relevant standards, which is convenient for subsequent data transmission and analysis.
Data transmission and sharing function
In order to facilitate further analysis and management of data, the foundation pile dynamic tester generally has a variety of data transmission methods. The collected data can be transferred to an external computer or server through a USB interface, an Ethernet interface, or wireless transmission (such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi). In this way, the tester can analyze the data in detail in other places such as the office, and it is also convenient for data sharing and communication between different testing units.
On-site rapid detection function
The foundation pile dynamic tester is easy to operate and can be quickly tested in environments such as construction sites. The instrument is generally portable and easy to carry and move to different pile positions for testing. Moreover, the detection process is relatively fast. Compared with the traditional foundation pile static load test, it can complete the detection of multiple foundation piles in a shorter time, which greatly improves the detection efficiency and helps to speed up the progress of the project.
