GD-SPT Standard Penetration Testing Tool Kit
GD-SPT is a standard penetration testing kit for soil capacity test, using 63.5kg hammer-falling distance 76cm. The whole system is consist of tactile Probes, tactile rods and penetrating hammer. All tactile rods are made of 42mm seamless tubes, compliance with international testing standards ASTM.
Before drilling, users always carry out soil capacity test. The detailed steps is: Install the frame and keep the touchdown hole vertical; Let the hammer fall freely, falling distance of 76 cm, timely record the depth of penetration. A stroke of penetration and the corresponding number of hammer blows, (generally 5 blows for a stroke) and calculate the measured number N of blows per penetration of 10cm.
