Our magnetotelluric instruments can perform Magnetotellurics (MT), Accelerated Magnetotellurics (AMT) and Controlled Source Audio Magnetotellurics (CSAMT). They are mainly used in the measurement of the electric and magnetic fields of the earth to reveal the underground geological structure and the distribution of resources.

Magnetotellurics (MT) is a passive detection technique that relies on variations in natural electromagnetic fields, particularly currents from lightning and crustal activity, to detect electrical features in the subsurface. The advantages of this technique are its ability to detect deep structures and its high resolution, information that is important for the exploration of mineral resources and the management of water resources.

Accelerated magnetotelluric method (AMT), on the other hand, is an extension of the MT technique that uses higher frequency electromagnetic waves to detect geologic bodies at more shallow depths. This method is commonly used in urban areas or other areas with complex electromagnetic environments because of its ability to provide accurate geologic information in a shorter period of time.

Controlled Source Magneto-electric Method (CSAMT) uses an electromagnetic field generated by an artificial power source to probe subsurface media. By controlling the frequency and intensity of the source, this technique can effectively improve the clarity of the signal, thereby better resolving the electrical structure of the subsurface. In recent years, CSAMT technology has shown great potential in oil and gas exploration and archaeological site detection.
