The steel tape water level gauge + temperature measuring instrument can measure accurate water levels and water temperatures. It is typically used to measure water levels and well depths in wells, boreholes, and water level pipes. It is suitable for observing groundwater levels in hydropower projects or manually inspecting the seepage lines of earth-rock dams, as well as measuring water temperatures in wells/water level pipes, etc.
This instrument can be used during construction and also as a long-term safety monitoring device for projects.
1. Steel tape water level gauge:
When measuring, loosen the locking screw behind the winding reel to allow it to rotate freely, then press the power button "I." Insert the probe into the water level tube, hold the steel tape cable, and slowly lower the probe. When the probe's contact point touches the water surface, the red light will illuminate, and the receiver system's buzzer will emit a continuous beeping sound. At this point, read the depth dimension of the steel tape cable at the pipe opening, which represents the distance between the groundwater level and the pipe opening.
2. Water temperature measuring instrument:
After the water level gauge probe contacts the water surface (steel tape water level gauge), lower it to the desired water temperature measurement position, then switch to power button "II." Wait until the water temperature display reading stabilizes, indicating the current water temperature.

Steel tape water level gauge: The probe is made of stainless steel and has water resistance contact points installed inside. When the contact points touch the water surface, they connect to the receiving system. When the contact points leave the water surface, they automatically disconnect from the receiving system.
Water temperature measuring device: The entire system is installed inside the steel tape water level gauge probe. When the temperature measuring accessory touches the water surface, it can measure the water temperature. The measurement takes a certain amount of time until the temperature on the display stabilizes.
