Groundwater Monitoring Solution
This tool is perfect for monitoring groundwater levels in hydropower projects and evaluating seepage lines in earth-rock dams. It provides dependable data on underground water movement, ensuring reliable surveillance.
Reliable Long-Term Performance
With its robust design, the meter ensures consistent and reliable performance for both periodic and continuous water level checks. It is ideal for long-term monitoring and safety assessments in engineering projects.
Concise Overview
A highly accurate device for measuring water levels in diverse settings such as wells and boreholes. Essential for safety inspections in hydropower facilities and dam structures, it offers dependable data for ongoing monitoring.
Structural Principle
The steel ruler water level gauge consists of a probe, a steel ruler cable, a receiving system and a winding reel.
1. Probe part: Made of stainless steel, with water resistance contact points installed inside. When the contact touches the water surface, the receiving system will be connected. When the contact leaves the water surface, the receiving system will be automatically turned off.
2. Steel ruler cable part: The steel ruler and the wire are combined into one by plastic technology, which not only prevents the steel ruler from rusting, but also simplifies the operation process, making the measurement more convenient and accurate.
3. Receiving system part: It consists of a sounder and a test button. The sounder emits a continuous buzzing sound from a buzzer. There is a test button on the front panel, which is mainly used to test whether the entire receiving system can work normally. If the battery is about to run out, the buzzer sound will become smaller. If you need to continue using it, please replace the battery of the same specification. (9V 6F22)
4. Winding disk part: It consists of a winding disk and a bracket. The receiving system and the battery compartment are placed on the front of the winding disk panel, and the steel ruler cable is wound outside the cavity.
Instrument Use
1. When the probe's contact touches the water surface, the sounder will make a sound or the voltmeter will immediately indicate. At this time, the steel ruler cable should be slowly retracted and released to carefully find the exact position of the sound or indication moment and then read the depth dimension of the point from the hole.
2. The accuracy of the reading depends on the timely determination of the starting position of the buzzer or indication. The accuracy of the measurement is related to the operator's proficiency, so repeated practice and operation should be performed.
3. There is a brake switch in the center of the front panel to prevent the reel from rotating freely. When the measurement is completed, the switch can be tightened to the right to lock the reel to prevent rotation.
